I've played an Ozama, my friend used to have a custom koa concert back in college. Never heard of an Ozawa though.

Funny, his bio doesn't mention anything about ukulele

Makes a handful of customs a year. Almost impossible to get one.

Is it Ozawa or Ozama, Ronnie? I remember my friend's uke said Ozama on the label inside. I know Ozama no make ukes anymore, not since 2006.

It's Ozama. The website got the name wrong. But the picture of the label doesn't lie...

Ah ok, cool. Well, my friend's Ozama sounded great man, definitely better than my concert Kamaka at the time. It was a while back, but I know for sure it was a great sounding uke. I wonder if my friend still has it. I should give him a call.

Mahalo. The website says this one is a soprano and then a tenor, so i need to find out more. It's a pineapple with drop dead gorgeous koa wood at a very good price.

Good luck with getting it! I'm sure you'll like it if its the right price.

Sorry, I read this post while at a high school football game on my phone. I was talking about Herman Aizawa.
