About the Uke:
It is a 17″ Tenor scale made of the finest woods selected by its maker with resonance in mind. The Uke is a solid body electric instrument.
About the wood:
We use only solid woods for our ukuleles.
The wood of the body is solid Basswood and the other features are made of jatoba.
The fretboard is rosewood.
About the hardware:
The uke is equipped with a specially designed transducer that acts as a pickup would for an electric guitar. It is of such quality that a preamp is not necessary to achieve a great sound through an amp. However, a preamp can be used if desired.
A 250k pot is installed on the sound board allowing for volume level changes when plugged in.
The uke will come with a 1/4″ jack just like an electric guitar so plugging into your rig will require no adaptation.
Each uke is made with high quality sealed tuners.
Unk’s Ukulele’s can be made left handed and/or in a concert size at no extra charge.
