(I made this topic a while ago and got nothing. I'm just testing the field again I suppose :p)

I'm looking for a 10 string Martin style Tiple. The Columbian 12 strings are neat but I'm not interested. However, I can't actually afford a Martin tiple. Instead, I'm looking for either:

-A vintage Regal/Maxitone/Harmony/etc with a straight neck, level frets, and with a bone or ebony saddle a opposed to a fret saddle.
-An Ohana Tiple
-Any other modern Tiple $600 or under

Thank you very much!

-Zac

I am very happy with my new Ohana tiple. It was well under your $600 price.

I saw that! Unfortunately, it says "Coming soon" as opposed to "Add to cart" :( And I know Ohana has a big waiting list for a lot of ukes right now

That's a little too much work for my price point, haha! But thank you for the help, Tudorp.

It would all depend on the value of one of those repaired. I would consider it, set it up with new strings to just get playing it, and do the repairs later.. Is that a decent price for that needing those repairs? I'm sure that hole and fretwork would cost a couple bengies or so..
