I started work on my style 1 slotted headstock parlor guitar today... Cut the body template out and prepared the back and sides - Andaman Padauk. I then put it back on the shelf and got on with some real work - 10 rosettes in a bunch of sopranos...

Anyone with Andaman Padouk has to put it to its most valuable use. I can only hope to touch some one day.

If you have seen my guitar you will know I need a replacement that is somehow normal. If you want me to make you one then pm me - we need to keep this under the covers don't we? BTW it will have a red spruce front with less than 10 grain counts to the inch that will be every bit as good as that ridiculous 24 GTI that boutique builders demand....
