I am a freshman and possess the ukulele Ibanez QM-10 UEW concert. I would like to replace the mechanics of the ukulele, and although I would like to use this mechanism. Would be that even possible?

Is that hard to change the mechanics? Do I need to drill for it? Or is the size of the mechanicals hole enough for the other mechanik?
A question I would have still, waht it's really different from the high G and low G? Which setting would be beneficial for a beginner?
