Anyone know who I can trust to clean it up? It hasn't been played in close to 50 years. Still in good condition, no cracks and such, just needs a good check up with cleaning, polishing and new strings. Mahalo!

If you don't mind sending it off, I know that you can trust Mike Chock of Hana Lima Ia. I know that is is repairing another guy's vintage Kamaka who's bridge popped off. Give him an email, and see what he says.

Aloha

Thanks. Do you have his email address or phone #?

I would suggest calling him first, and telling him your situation, and seeing what he says, and then going from there.

I'll give you a few ways to contact him, and you pick what you like.

Or you can check out there website at www.hanalima.com and leave them a comment, and they will email you within a few days( they are pretty busy, so don't feel bad if it takes up to a week to hear from them ).

Hope this helps.
Good luck
Bob
