Hello everyone,

I seem to have some fret buzz on my uke. It is a Pono MPTCE and it is only on the E string and it is only if I pluck the string kind of hard (not real hard ,but kind of). I took it to the guy that sets up my guitar and he took a look at it and fixed it a little. Is this normal for some ukes? Also could it just be the string? It never started until I switched strings. When I got it on I realize I didn't put it on correctly so I had to pretty much take it off and put it on again. Would this cause the string to wear out? I went from Aquila to D'Addario strings if that helps.

Hi
It may just be the strings. Every now and then you get a bad set. Consider too Pono's stock strings by Ko'olau. The newest versions are Mahana and Alohi.
Environmental changes can sometimes cause buzzing so make sure you have proper humidity with your ukulele.
I'd start there as there was no buzz prior to string change.
