I guess I was spoiled by MGM...
...when I'd order strings, he only charged me actual shipping cost = a couple stamps.
Recently I was trying to order a set of strings and most places charge nearly the same price as the strings for shipping and in some cases even more :eek:
Can someone recommend a place to buy strings from please?
 
I've been tempted to buy some Seaguar fluorocarbon line and sell my own sets. Heck, I'll ship for free. :)
 
I can't find any listed right now, but if I remember right Hawaii Music Supply ships strings quite reasonably. Mim has strings too, send her a PM or email. Dr Clucks Music Emporium on ebay ships pretty cheap too.

My local music shop will special order, no charge. They also started stocking some if they think there is s demand.
