Hi all

My sister just put me onto this site:

http://www.banjoukes.com/index.html

It is slowly compiling a list of most brands of Banjo Ukes that they know have sold at Auction:

http://www.banjoukes.com/Values/auctions.html

The Descriptions are straight from the Auction threads, so may or may not be an accurate portrayal of the instruments - and the prices may indicate a 'lucky buy' rather than a 'bad instrument'!

Those interested in Banjo Ukes (vintage in particular) may well find this will be a great site to keep an eye on - it gives good info on many of the different brands of vintage banjo ukes too (with more to come!!)

Enjoy - Oh, how I wish I had an open cheque book!! Those Maybells are gorgeous!!

Cheers

Roberta

What no Keech?! Great site though!!

Cool site but a little behind, at least from what I can see from the May-Bells. Open backs are now easily going for $300 in good condition and ad Resonators- well, check Flea Bay...they are asking ridiculous prices for rough instruments. It seems the newest listing from 2010 is an outfit 30. I have never seen one and as the one listed for $450 a year ago, I figure it would be higher now...sigh. Must have one of those little gems to round things out
