New mya-moe!

Well, they are shipping it on Wednesday... A Mya-Moe curly myrtle, concert with the 14 fret at the body...I've had it ordered for months and now I'm days from playing it!!!

This is surely the culmination of my UAS...my uke funds are tapped out.... (although I may splurge on another dolphin, since I keep my current one in my car).

I've played two mya-moe uke's previously...Aaron Keims personal tenor and a myrtle belonging to Bonita, at the Southern Illinois Ukin' in the woods last weekend. I cannot wait to have my own in my hands!!

Congrats! That is a sweet looking concert. That is a really curly myrtle concert.

I'm sure it will sound as good as it looks.
 
mmmm...congratulations penguin, that's a gorgeous one and myrtle is such a lovely tonewood. Looking forward to the vids!!! :)

Wow, looks beautiful. Know you are excited and it was completed early, yeah! Now we have to find a way to get together so I can play yours.

Loverly! That curly Myrtle is berautiful! Looking forward to my own which doesn't start building until December! Which pickup did you get installed? I'm getting a concert Pineapple w/a K&K p/u.

It's here! It's here!!! It's even more stunning in person... I can't believe it... And it sounds wonderful!!!! I'm hoping to post a vid tomorrow... If I have any voice at all by then...it's been threatening to leave me for days...

It also came in an awesome hardcase... Nearly the very one I was planning to purchase myself for the uke had need been. I'm in bed sipping tea, or I'd tell you the brand.. Actually, I think it's Uke Crazy ... vid/pics after I wake up from going back to bed after playing my new mya-moe and sipping tea in the wee hours!
