in a friendly way i hope they didnt break the record, we held it hwere in the uk until this year,hoping we can reclaim it at some point

I was at the Go For Da Record Event, and sadly we did not break the record held by Sweden. We needed around 500 more people LOL but it was really fun, and I got to jam with a lot of people I think they are going to try one more time, so hopefully we can break it next time!!!!!!!!!

I find it pathetic that Hawaii cannot win this record. There's enough ukulele players in Hawaii to set a record that could never be beat in the rest of the world. Hawaiians I know are extremely proud of their heritage. I know there's tons of logistics getting that many ukulele players together, but it should be a no brainer in Hawaii. To my Hawaiian friends, are you prepared to relinquish your musical culture to Sweden and/or England?! This is a sad statement for Hawaiians wanting to imprint their culture on the globe. Ric
