I cheated a little, the desert king snake is not nearly as colorful as the red king snake found in the more moderate areas of the West Coast.

Body = Australian Blackwood

Red King Snake = Black MOP, White Mop, Red Coral

Head Stock Inlay = Black MOP, White MOP, Silver Acacia (for sand) Recon stone for sky, Cactus and Spires.

Snake Fretboard Snake Markers = White MOP.

Neck = Mahogany

Purfling = Bubinga, Maple, Walnut

The saguaro cactus scene is marvelous.

After looking at all the pics, I had to go back and look again. So busy looking at the inlays, I forgot to look at the uke. Nice work.

I really dig the inlay and purfling, great composition. The silver acacia works perfect for the sand.

Gorgeous but why a fret marker at 9 instead at 10 like most ukes? Is it going to a "guitar" player? :)

As Ronald Regan was famous for saying "mistakes were made"
