can anyone suggest any easy songs to play

Check out a thread from yesterday. Someone gave a link to dozens of songbooks from ukulele groups they collected. 100's of songs and most are very easy.

The best place to start is the Ukulele Resources section. It has many links to great resources for variety of songs we can play with Ukulele. Enjoy!! :D

can anyone suggest any easy songs to play

I'm a Believer (G, D, C, F), D'yer Maker (C, Am, F, G), You Shook Me All Night Long (G, D, C, D7), Sloop John B (G, C, F, Am)

Oh My Darling Clementine (F, C), This Land is Your Land (C, F, G7)

Most songs are really not difficult to play. There are thousands upon thousands that just use 3 or 4 chords. It is what you do with them that can make them difficult.

The secret is to keep the strumming very simple. Concentrate on changing chords accurately, staying in time, varying the volume a bit. Many people fall into the trap of trying to copy the way others play a song and often try to tackle something that is too difficult for them.

what????
seems an ulterior motive has arisen for his original post on here?
maybe it should be deleted?

Blowin' in the Wind C F G7
Dear Hearts & Gentle People C F G7
He's Got the Whole World in his Hands C G7
How much is that Doggie in the WIndow F C7
On Top of Old Smokey/On Top of Spaghetti C F G7

and Heaps more!!

Stick with songs that you are familiar with the melody & words first - it'll be easier for you to pick up the strum rhythm etc
