Anyone tried different strings on their Kiwaya? I'd rather not re-invent the wheel if you have personally done the research for me!! Mine is a Pineapple KS2P laminated mahogany. thanks in advance.

I've tried Aquila - didn't like them - loud but dull.
Fremont Black Flurocarbons OK, sort of low but mellow and soft sounding.
Worth Brown Mediums - Like them a lot - sweet and mellow and felt good under the fingers.
Martin flurocarbons M600? - because they were cheap from Thomman - sweet and a bit higher sounding than the Worths. I like them a lot.

Mine is a KS1. Laminate. I believe the pineapple shape is supposed to accentuate lower frequencies so the Martins would seem like an ideal first try.
