Solid plastic (ha ha) Mauna Loa soprano.
This was made by BW Molded Plastics in CA in (I'm guessing) the 50's. It has a black top and marbleized purple sides and back (I'm told the purple is rare, take that for what you will). It also has the original tuning pegs.
I've strung it with Aurora Blues (dyed Aquilas). The intonation is good and, best of all for a plastic uke, the action isn't too high.
There are some scuffs, but otherwise it's in great shape and actually plays pretty well -- plinky, to be sure, but in a good way.
I'll pick up shipping CONUS. International buyers, PM me and we'll work something out.
$55. Paypal. Feel free to email me with any questions.
Thanks.
