Several weeks ago, Eric from DeVine Guitars posted that had a couple Ameritage Gold series baritone uke cases available. I contacted him and once we determined that a U-bass would fit, I bought one. Just arrived today.

Perfect fit! Looks great. How heavy are those Ameritage cases?

I've got a silver series one of these for one of my tenors. It is a great case. I feel the quality and protection are far superior to the standard hard cases out there.
It is pretty heavy though...

I got a rough estimate by reading my wife's weight on an old spring type bathroom scale, then handing her the case (empty) and taking another reading. It looks to be 5 1/2 pounds.
Out of curiosity I did the same thing with my Cedar Creek case for my Martin D-18. It same in at 8 pounds.

I bought the Ameritage tenor case that Eric had for sale, but it was more than a couple of weeks ago. But it truly is a beautiful case. I will be taking my MB to an open mike night tonight in it.
