My wife goT her new Pono mb today. We had our first husband wife jam tonight! It sounds great and we are having lots of fun.

Anybody have suggestions for good baritone learning and song books I can get her for Christmas? I like using the web, she says she likes having real paper. I would like to get her some extra strings too. Which one do you guys like on the Bari?

Thanks!

The Bari Best from Jim Beloff is a good starter book for Baritone.
Can't help on the strings though...mine is wearing linears from Southcoast now and is GCEA

This is the same post I gave to the UU member looking for low g tabs.
You could print some of these out and have them bound at the print/ copy shop.
Roger Ruthen has contributed a lot of nice fingerpicking ukulele tabs, including lots for low g. Note that baritone tuning and low g can use the same tab (although, depending on your tuning, you might be playing in a different key).
Here is his site:

and another one that has many of the same tabs

I just got a bari too, so I have this on my mind.

Thanks for all of the great ideas! I have learned alot about music in the last couple of days by having differently tuned uke (dgbe) in the family.

Lori, I didn't know that the low g and Bari tabs could be the same. That opens up a lot more possibilities!

Happy thanksgiving all!

I didn't think of it either, until I started downloading baritone tabs, and discovered they were exactly the same as my low g tabs.
