View Full Version : Remember "Lollipop Indians?" (here's a song about 'em)

Thought this tune would be a good fit in the songwriting forum. It's a simple uke song called "Lollipop Indians." For those out of the loop, every now and then as a kid, you'd find a cartoon Indian on your Tootsie Pop wrapper. It was a rare find. For some reason, girls in class would always be collecting them from the boys. Decades later, I wrote this song:

Took about 45 minutes to write. It was my first day ever with a uke so I have no idea what chords I was playing. I think it came together fairly well nonetheless. We have a few other uke tunes people seem to enjoy on soundcloud if you guys ever get bored and want to check them out.

Looking forward to browsing the boards for new music. We just joined today :)
