Finally starting

Hi,All
I am anxious to learn how to play my ukulele, so I'm placing my other instruments aside and picking up my Uke(which has been staring at me for a couple of years in an accusing manner).

I'm sure I'll have alot of dumb questions. I've memorized 5 chords just to get started, and am also doing alot of reading on this site.

Congrats. Check out Uncle Rod's Ukulele Boot Camp for a great way to learn chords and next time in book store, check out Ukulele for Dummies. Otherwise, lots of free stuff here and elsewhere online.

Welcome. Hope you like it. Five chords can take you a long way. Don't worry about asking questions. We've all been there/ are there. Just have fun.

Don't over think it. I myself am expanding from 4 years of Classical Guitar into Ukes, and while I'm humbled by the little instruments, I'm having a blast.

In order not to neglect all the work I have put into CG, Im trying to disipline myself to practice uke after CG.

But other than that Im playing a couple of songs at time...
