Can a F#m/E be played on a standard tuned uke?

Technically no because the /E means play an E in the bass under the F#m. Even on a Low G tuned uke there is no low E to use. However you could play 2424 which is F#m7 (A, E, F#, C#) which has the same notes in it as F#m/E (E, F#, A, C#) and since the A on the G string is a high G the E on the C string would be the lowest sounding note. (E, F#, A, C#). Hope that helps.

I'd say forget the /E, just play F#m
