I thought you might like to see the cigar box uke "I built" with a Mainland neck. I used a sharpie for the "Ukester Brown" logo. Then I had to have a case so I used bags from a coffee shop and put in a quilted lining. It says "Bold Standard" on both sides of the bag. My wife helped me a bit- but less than you may think. Here is a photo of bag and uke: View attachment 30620 After I made the video I realized that while Mainland still sells necks for us hobbyists to use, they are not a complete assembly like I bought 3 years ago. It's nice to have them available! Thanks Mike!
And here's a video:

Ukester Brown, that sounds great. Nice CBU.

Your videos are great! Thanks for sharing.

That sounds way better than I expected it to. Very cool. Might need to try this sometime.

I'm kinda diggin on that bag idea... It would be cool if you could find an old burlap sack like that with a tobacco themed logo on it. But, coffee is cool too..

Nice, Ukester! That cigar box uke is great.
