This looks like a 3K to me but I'm not really sure. Anyone else sure?

Gary, it looks like mahogany to me. I don't have a Martin (yet) but do have koa and mahogany ukes.

It's a mahogany No.3 (circa 1930). Great price! I'd grab that one if I were you.

Well Mickey, my guess is that it will go for $1800+ <g>. Thanks everyone, that sure is light grained mahogany. cheers, g2

Yes, I thought that was wonderful, too. This seller has gotten his hands on some amazing ukuleles over the past year. This one is most definitely mahogany. Most of the 3Ks you will see are much curlier with the grain running horizontally across the body. Even at $1800.00, these are fantastic ukuleles.

Yeah, it's just light mahogany. I prefer the mahogany Martins, anyway :)

I'm not sure if it's really all that light, or if it's just the photos. I'll let you know in a few days. *Evil laughter*

Was supposed to keep an eye on that because it was a good price...wow it really shot up...well it was in good condition...but I wouldn't pay that price myself for it..

It's here, and it's actually not as light as it looked in the eBay pictures.
One picture on its own, one with my Kiwaya KTS-7, and one with my other two Martins.
