Sold
Up for sale is a Gretsch 6930 Standard Ukulele. The ukulele has its original box and appears to be in excellent condition other than a very faint split in the wood on the back.
I'm selling this ukulele for my wife's aunt whose husband (now deceased) played the instrument. I know nothing about ukulele's, but know Gretsch made/makes excellent guitars. I found this forum and another called ukulele underground and inquired about the vintage and current resale value of the ukulele. From the information I've received so far, the value is somewhere between $200 and $300.
The ukulele comes with its original box and three ukulele music books which are:
The new "At-A-Glance" Illustrated Self Instructor Ukulele, by Wm.
J.Smith Music Co. Inc., New York, Copyright 1937.
2. Ukulele Ike (Cliff Edwards) Collection for the Ukulele, Copyright 1949.
3. May Singhi Breen (the ukulele lady) "New Ukulele Method" for
beginners and advanced students, Copyright 1950.
I'm asking $230.00 (OR BEST OFFER)shipped via US Priority mail with insurance to the lower 48 States.
For more information or additional questions please PM or email me at davidfalkenberg@sbcglobal.net
Thanks
David
