Some time ago, I received my Big Island Koa Rope Tenor. Fantastic instrument and it is all I have been playing since I got it. Tonight I broke out my mahogany Mainland concert. All I can say is it is really my favorite. I prefer the feel as well as the sound to the BI. It just seems to be more me. I dunno.

I played my buddy's Red Cedar last week & was amazed at the sound & feel of it! THe neck is SO thin, it makes barring chords so much easier too.

All Mainlands are a great uke
