Not specifically about ukes, but from this board I learned about the Mobile Cube, which I do not at all regret having bought for a practice amp.
As I owned it since almost 30 years anyway, I also used my old Cube Keyboard 40, when I wanted some more depth to the sound. Unlike the guitar Cubes the keyboard Cube has a very clear sound revealing sloppy left hand work. Which is what I need in my strive to improve as a player.
The other day the Cube Keyboard suddenly went dull loosing all of its presence. I have done some troubleshooting by means of comparing to the Mobile Cube and by means of the earphone-out plug. As I get it, it is the piezo descant horn that has died and not the amplification behind it.
Is it worthwhile replacing that treble speaker? Is that part at all available?
