Good morning

I won an old Harmony soprano on ebay, keyboard in wood, and I want to change the old strings,
at home I have these strings:
Savarez KF
Worth clear (medium)
Worth brown (medium)
Fremont
Aquila new nylgut
Aquila bionylon
Lisa

for you, what are the best strings for this instrument?

Thank you and have a nice day.

Buon Giorno . I would try the new Aquila nylguts .

If your ukulele is of laminated wood, then the Aquilas would be best, I think. If it's a solid wood ukulele, I'd try the Worths.

I have a 1950's Harmony, body is Birch (probably a plywood), plastic fretboard.

I just put Kala Reds on it, and it sounds great.

I used the Kalas on a lark, because the uke has a red stencil on the front, and a red paint where the binding would be. It looks sharp, and the sound is a bonus.

I have Aquila Nylguts (ADF#B) on my 50's poplar lam Harmony, and really like the sound.

Hi tronco,
I have a 50's solid mahogany Harmony with the wooden fingerboard. The first strings I tried were Worth browns. After two days, I changed them out for Worth clear mediums. The browns sounded thinner, while the clears had a fuller sound with more lower end.

Thanks to all

my harmony is in playwood, sure not all solid wood

I'd like to try new red Kala string, but they are still hard to find in Europe.

I think I will use the Aquila, I liked a lot the old, but since they are no longer i try the new or I will try to use the nylgult

Thanks again to all
