Can u add a pickup to a makala dolphin?

Hiya ukulelers! I'm new to this forum and ukulele in general. With Christmas coming around i would like to receive a Makala Dolphin setup by ukerepublic. I understand it is plastic backed but i would like to add a passive pickup (k&k big shot). Is it possible?

get one of those clip on pick ups. i've seen them and they are ok for £10

For a cheap uke like the Makala, it probably won't be worth going through the trouble of buying the pickup, drilling holes in it and installing it.

I too recommend a clip on pickup. Search them on eBay, they're cheap and work really well.
They just clip into your headstock like a tuner.

Yes, i have one. Lots of videos on youtube to show you how to install an inexpensive passive pickup.
