I have been playing Cello for about 7 months and I absolutely love it! I wish I could have started earlier but I am glad just to be playing.

How did you get interested in uke?

I used to play the cello in grade school many moons ago... I forgot most of it, but I remember enough to sympathize with this guy:

Haha, funny video!
I don't play it but I've always wanted to try. Is it hard to learn? Like, how much time do you reckon would it take for a uke player to learn how to play a song on it... or a scale or... C-F-G chords?

I wish I had the money for a cheap one, but I'd tune it EADG and play it lie a mini upright bass. I read it can be done and it makes a nice sit down acoustic bass.

SIGH - I just finished my taxes, no refund for me but I owe less than $200.

I've played the cello for roughly 8 years now, and all I can say is that ukulele is a waaaaaaay different experience.

I've played cello since I was young. There is a BIG difference between the two. From the way you play the instrument to the music that you play. It has a beautiful sound tho.
