Changing Strings In Hawaii

Wow, changed my strings two times on the Big Island (still having problems with the C sting). Both times took forever to get them to stay in tune (kept going flat big time). Well now back in Wisconsin. Do they now go sharp. Humidity and temp do make a difference.

Will post later on some uke playing opportunities on the Big Island.

I've never noticed this. What kind of strings are you using?
 
Yes with certain strings when it rains here they are flat...and when it is cold, it is sharp..... hmmm
