I brought home a sizable load of black acacia from Oakland, California today. I cut and brought home more than I really need. It is unusual in that it is very light in color for black acacia. I'm 99.9% sure it is black acacia after looking at the leaves and talking to the tree service and property owner which all confirm. I cut it in 36"" long sections. If you find yourself near Sebastopol California and want some for the hauling just call or email me. The Oak I wrote on this set stands for Oakland not oak the wood.

You got to cut up your own sets.

Ok I see I need to be more clear. The wood I'm offering is in log form 36" long, the diameter of the tree was about 28 inches. so these sections i cut in half the long way. They weigh a couple hundred pounds and are green. The picture below is from a set I just cut from one of these sections. You will need to cut your own sets on your bandsaw.
