Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. MOP fingerboard dots with white side
dots. The logo inlay is MOP into ebony with an outer maple ring. Bone nut
and saddle. Grover brand gold friction tuners with cream colored knobs.
Worth brand clear strings. Satin nitro-lacquer finish. Low easy playing
action and a very full rich mellow sound. Your complete satisfaction is

It's ukuleles like this that force me to come to grips with the fact that my UAS is insatiable. That's a beautiful instrument.

Is anyone else amused that the bear in the Black Bear logo on the headstock is white? :)

Another beauty, Duane. I like the bridge design. Your koa pineapple just gets better and better, btw, so thanks for that.

I have been waiting for a koa Black Bear pineapple to surface, but this thing looks amazing. Might have to post something in the market place to help fund it. Hope it lasts that long.

Macadamia wood? If it plays half as good as the nuts taste, then this is a winner.

Especially if dipped in chocolate. Call it the Hawai'ian Host Uke.

I have a bunch of this wood and I was curious as to how it would work for sound and It is indeed a very mellow sweet sounding uke. It has incredible color and figure to it also. I will be making more ukes with it and right now I have a soprano harp uke with a spruce /macadamia combination in the works. Thanks for the comments.

And it only has 3 legs.

Speaking of third legs, I get a woody when I see photos of a lovely ukulele like this Black Bear. It's a fine instrument. Thanks for sharing the photos.
