42nd Annual Ukulele Festival (Oahu)

Hi all, my wife planned our vacation around the Roy Sakuma Uke Festival and I remember talking to people last year who participated in the show. They went to a workshop and learned some songs and then performed at some point during the show. Has anyone else done this? Does anyone have information about this? It sounds like something that might be fun to do while I'm there.

I'm pretty sure I covered the entire website and I couldn't find the information I was after. I think I remember seeing the info last year, so I'm hoping they just haven't posted it to the site yet. Actually, I'm trying to find out if it's even true. Maybe I misheard what they were saying last year. I'm hoping someone on the underground can clarify for me.

. . . yeah, some kid dropped his uke down the stairs and it pretty much sounded better than my playing.
