How deep is it? I am having problems finding a case for a "fat" custom that I have.

This (http://www.koolauukulele.com/cases.html) is it, perhaps? It looks pretty sturdy. I do find these a drag to carry around though. Best to have a gig bag for on the road (RIP WIllie Nelson).

Ah... he's not gone yet. Yay!

I have a couple of these cases and they are very nice. Top notch. But they're not really that deep. If you take a couple measurements and email them to Ko'olau, they can tell you if it will fit or not.

I had to super glue part of the rubber binding when I got mine, but that fixed up nicely.

I don't know how to lock and key work. I tried unsuccessfully to figure it out for 5 minutes.

You had me looking for deeper layers and strange libertarian humor that I couldn't grasp. LOL It was just a cut & paste spasm gone bananas. Thanks for pointing it out, I corrected the above post.

I did that. I can stick the key in fine, but I'm so confused on how it locks anything. It opens every time.

Wait... nevermind. One full turn... got it. I was confused at first because the whole thing can just spin in circles and not do anything. I still don't really understand how that locks anything, but it locks now anyway.
