Order placed!

After doing way too much research, and after several emails with the builder, I just placed an order for a new Wim Van Der Fleden, tenor sized banjo ukulele from his shop in Holland. Ordered it with a traditional scroll shaped headstock, dark natural finish, and a full resonator. Can't wait to see it. He was extremely helpful with emailing me answers to my questions, and said that he would be sending pics throughout the build process which should take about 3 weeks. Now we play the waiting game. All for 240 euros or about $305 US shipped.

I would call it semi custom, but still for handmade I thought it was a great deal too. Found a few positive reviews here on UU and a few videos on his website and YouTube that sounded great. Timeframe was quicker than I thought too. Ive never bought an instrument I hadn't played first, but his emails and the reviews here gave me some confidence to go ahead and pull the trigger on it.
