I notice a very very tiny crack appear on the gloss of one of my ukes and am wondering if that's something that I should try to get fixed and if so, what's the best way to fix it? I don't want to overdo it, but I also don't want it to lead to a bigger problem

where you livin....got any extreme weather conditions? is the ukulele a solid wood or laminate...

it's only a surface crack--can't feel it underneath, and it's solid wood, but glossed. It is really barely noticeable

Could it just be....

.... an unfilled grain line on the surface that shows through the finish ?

Actually sorry, it may not be an unfilled grain line. I can actually feel the difference in texture more prominently than I think I would an unfilled grainline

yes, you are correct... worth fixing or should i just monitor it?
