I got my strings from a friend at a music store. However, he decided to get a different job. DAMN HIM!!! LOL Any suggestions on where to buy strings in bulk? I usually use Fremont Black, Worth or Aquila's...

I usually get those string brands at Elderly Instruments when they have a string sale.

Seaguar fluorocarbon fishing leader, #30, #40, #50 and #60 for sopranos and concerts. Go up to #70 for tenors. Threads on this forum and others have indicated that this is very close to if not identical to Worth clears. And this is very much in bulk as the smallest amount you can buy comes in 25 yard spools and cost about $25 each depending on the diameter.

Another vote for Elderly. The couple of times that I buy uke strings, I usually buy at least four sets so the shipping cost is worth it.
