You'll get more response if you post some pictures. And do you know who built it?

If it is the bottom one on this page, it is quite the looker!Nice! But that one had 4A koa, pearl rosette & binding and koa fingerboard. I've never heard of this company. Anyone know anything about the Ramseys?

First time posters should maybe pay attention to the threads they start.

(yeah, I know that was snarky, but we shouldn't have to search for pictures of ukes he wants to sell, when the instructions are on a sticky)

A member from Colorado mentioned John when we were compiling the Uke Store info. They're probably known locally (Colorado Springs) as with a lot of other builders/luthiers you'll never hear of. I know they've been on the Custom Builders List and other than the info from the website, not much else.

Hey kenji,

After looking over the descriptive again, I do believe you are correct! Good job! OP, you need to post some pictures following the UU rules. You're keeping us all in suspense ...

I think the OP just listed this uke on eBay ...

Take a look at the very bottom of the page which says "Beginner Ukulele." It is actually a link to a beginners guide but at first glance I thought it meant that this uke was a beginners and I thought to myself, a tad high for a beginner uke. The mind can wander.

I think the OP just listed this uke on eBay ... I think you're right. And they mistakenly listed it as a tenor. Are those friction tuners or the 4:1 geared type?

OP hasn't been back to UU since this was posted. He gets a raspberry from me.

Also note that this ukulele is made in Colorado Springs—the only thing authentically Hawaiian about it is the name "ukulele."

I really wish I was in a position to buy this. I've played several palm tree ukes, and they've all been great.

This may or may not be a great uke and/or a great deal. I'd just note for anyone seriously considering this to really do due diligence. I'm afraid the OP has not instilled much confidence with his/her disregard of forum protocol. Note also that he's pulled both eBay listings for this uke and never got around to correcting those listings from tenor to concert uke.

Regardless of the merits of the listing, I can say that the Palm Tree ukuleles I have seen have been gorgeous. They were at the 2009 Denver Ukulele Festival, and sold quite a few there. They were way out of my league at the time, since I'd only been playing for about a month! I keep meaning to take the 5 hour drive over to Colorado Springs and check them out, assuming they're still around. They were NOT at the 2011 Denver Uke Fest, but I saw several people there playing them (possibly the same ones who'd bought them in '09!).

*I just looked at their website and see a 2012 copyright date at the bottom of the page, so I guess they're still in business.
