hi im new to this board an to ukulele's in general, and i know this is similar to the metal thread, but im more interested in punk and would love to learn to play covers and things along those lines. metal has deeper tones with more bass it would be mostly too hard to play with a ukulele i would think.

i found this guys videos on youtube and he does a ton of awesome covers of songs i enjoy. would love to see some more stuff like this, tabs, etc...

yep have to agree i love Ukepunk, he plays songs i used to pogo to in the 70's, my knees were a lot stronger in those days lol

Punk tunes translate well on Uke. In the 80's we mostly played 2 chords very very fast!!!

yeah ive played friends, ukulele's but as soon as i sell one of my acoustic guitars im gonna buy a tenor and start playing.

definitely going to learn a bunch of old oi/punk/hardcore stuff.

anyone know where i can find some chords/tabs to a lot of old punk....

going to figure out things i love asap: cock sparrer, the business, peter and the test tube babies, sham 69, the cockney rejects, the misfits, bad brains, minor threat, agnostic front, iron cross....etc etc

real excited to start playing this stuff.
