Sonny Daze Ukulele - 3 year hiatus

Hello brothers and sisters in uke. Or "Ni Hao" from where I'm living now.

I have not been on the website in a while, but found my password tonight so thought I would take a minute to sadly announce a 3 year hiatus in the construction of Sonny Daze cigar box ukuleles.

I have moved to Shanghai China... no lie, and unfortunately management of my downtown Shanghai apparrtment does not allow power tools, so I must give up a hobby that I love, at least while on this work assignment.

Keep playin players and keep building builders. In 2015 you may see some new Sonny Daze ukuleles possibly with an asain twist in the design.

I'm Back - the company I work for decieded to repatriate all of us western foreigners.. now I am back in the US and hopefully start building again by fall of 2013!
