Hi Guys, I'm looking to try and start building some ukuleles, catch is I'm completely new to it and have no idea where to start.
Could someone point me in the right direction in terms of proper tools and other handy ukulele buildinglinks which could help me, I'm a complete noob :0 any help would be much appreciated

Consider starting with a kit:

http://www.grizzly.com/products/H3125 (very easy - but won't make the greatest sounding instrument, not solid wood)

http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Kits/Ukulele_Kits.html (much more involved to build, expect to spend at least as much on tools as on the kit - can make an excellent instrument from what i've seen)

http://petehowlettukulele.co.uk/concert_ukulele_kit.html (a high end kit from one of our resident pros, Pete Howlett - looks to be not much more difficult than the stewmac kit, though you have to shape the neck. Haven't seen any of these built but, from what I've seen of Mr Howlett, I think they'd be pretty excellent)

Check out the different methods of construction such as bolt on necks versus dovetailed necks. Determine what you want to build and study those techniques. Just my 2 cents.
