Looking for a good hygrometer for my music room without breaking the bank. Looked at this one from Elderly.

Just wondering if this was okay or were there better options out there. Thanks!

Not tried it, but this looks like a good deal:

The AcuRite ones are great. You can pick one up at the outdoor section of Walmart for around $15.

I just ordered the one I linked to above. Should be here on Wednesday. Let me know if you'd like a report on it. :)

+1 on the Acu Rite. I've got a couple, and they seem to work pretty well.

I received the Acu-Rite device I linked to above.

Seems to work very well. It updates every 20 seconds or so. I placed it near the wall that my ukuleles hang on. For a test, I moved it over to the vent of my room humidifier and it started increasing after 20 seconds or so.

Not sure what else you'd want to know, but the small gauge (2.5" x3") works as advertised.

I ordered one last night myself. I was going to just leave my ukes in the case but with a solid body guitar, mandolin, violin and now a uke, I figured I had better get one and pick up a humidifier and keep things safe.
