Just finished a few more ukes up.
This guy is going to be coming with me to Thailand next month for the Thailand Uke fest and will be made available for sale.

This is some of the more beautiful koa I've worked with. I love that golden color!
More pics on my Blog

We also recorded a few new videos with Kimo Hussey that I will post once I've had a chance to edit them.

...Moe...Larry

Seriously, though, that is one beautiful uke.

I'm in lust...

I saw these in person when they were being built and they are stunning...

Wow. just spent some time on the blog as well. I am new to the uke generally (been playing less than a year) but these may be the most beautiful instruments I have ever seen. The attention to detail is evident. Wonderful, wonderful looking instruments, if they play half as well as they look, you have a true gift. Bookmarked the blog to keep going backward tonight when I can spend more time looking at the pics.

Like the others have said, that is one gorgeous uke!

If I may ask, what style of neck joint are you using? I'm just curious how it looks through the sound hole, and if it's a bolt on neck, is it difficult to tighten the bolts through the upper bout?

I use a sliding tenon similar to a biscuit joint. Very stable and light weight. Inside just looks like a plain head block.

Thank you for that. :)
Even though I've only seen them in pictures, your ukes have been a huge inspiration to me.
I can only hope to make them so nice some day.

I can't really afford to look at that, but that is one of the most beautiful ukes I've ever seen.
