Damn you Michael. I just received my cedar-topped Kala last Friday and figured I was through buying for a while. My UAS had almost receded and I was back to buying groceries, books, pet food... Then you do this to me! Now I'm all aquiver again.

Will the madness never end?

PS. The cedar topped Kala is lovely, thank you.

Michael,

Rebraced differently? I'm curious, it must be lighter.

My speakers doesn't do justice for the sound.

Is this lacewood spruce any different then what they normally use for the tops of KA-ST?

Solid...man...Solid. I got the laminated sides.

the new solid koa and lacewood series as well as a special mohogany series have different bracing and thickness dimensions than the reglar models These are lighter more resonant and modeled after some of the best vintage instruments in the world in certain aspects although they still typically are Kala. neck prifile is slimmer and headstock has layered pueflings around headstock Solid ebony fretboards bridges nuts and saddles etc.

Might be a tasty new snack. Truthfully I have been itching to take a dive on a Pineapple Sunday from Koaloha. She's one of my dream girls. Mike you are gonna get hit hard come tax refund time.
