I have heard of, but never really checked out cliff edwards' stuff (ukulele ike). This is fun uke music at its best!

Man! that Jiminy Cricket was WAY more talented than I ever realized.

You should look for clips of him on YouTube. He had one of the most relaxed playing styles I've seen.

I also suggest the four CD set "With My Little Ukulele in my Hand". It's a bargain, and one of the discs is almost all Cliff Edwards, with a bit of Johnny Marvin thrown in as well. Good stuff.
