Johnny Foodstamp here! I thought today I would do a little video of my warm up routine I do before shows and whatnot. Basically the chords from 5 ft 2 Eyes of Blue but I like to do a various right hand techniques to limber up. Enjoy!

You're a dern fine player there, Foodstamp. I still play my Uke like I did my guitar, hard n dirty like I got a pick or something. I would love to learn that Formby fan pattern and that split stroke. Goin to study your tutorial now.

The key with the right hand techniques, especially the split stroke, is to do them very slow with the strings muted and make sure you develop proper form so that when you speed it up it sounds punchy and not loose. Does that make sense? Thanks for watching!

I played my uke like a tiny guitar for awhile too. I think we all did.
