No, this thread has nothing to do with a big group of people choosing baby names or any such
My question is:
What case of letters (upper or lower) are used when describing which notes are in a particular tuning?
My question is a little unclear; perhaps an example:
So, i've got a uke in standard (high g) tuning. Do we say that it is tuned GCEA or gCEA or Gcea or what?
If there is one 'right' way, why is it the right way?
I'd like to be able to describe both the tuning (C, D, Bb) and note arrangement (high g/re-entrent, low g/linear) in one set of four letters.
