My understanding is that Ayers manufactures for several brands, the most recent being Moku. I played a spruce Moku and also a mahogany at NAMM, both very nice instruments.

Ayers Guitar Company makes the Big Island Ukulele Co. ukes, Moku Ukes, and builds ukes for eBay Power Seller "taisamlu" as well.

I've owned both Big Island Ukes & Ayers ukes - same nice rich tone, however, they lack in projection. Really nice Koa. I did have the privilege of trying the new Big Island Mango Tenor and it had a surprisingly loud voice with a nice warm tone. I believe that Ayers offers various tone woods as well.

Wow! That Ayers Koa/Mango Tenor uke looks pretty cool! The Ayers Koa cutaway has some nice curl and sounds good!
