Solid Cedar Top with Solid Rosewood Back & sides
On Ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/220944637216?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
If you want a good Concert Uke, but aren't concerned about cosmetics, this could be for you. It will make a good uke to travel with or take to the beach.
It is solid, sounds real nice, has good volume, but has scars.
I received this Uke (which had been damaged in shipping) about 2 years ago. It had 2 cracks in the top, but the Back, Sides & Neck were fine.
The cracks were real tight. I realigned the wood on the 2 cracks as best I could, and glued them with Crazy glue, and cleated them on the inside.
They are very stable, but not pretty. I tried to show them in the pictures.
