Will Wal-Mart Uke Hold tune with new strings?

What a deal!
If they package it with a plastic grass skirt, I'm in!

What tune? From the photographs I'd say the frets aren't positioned even close to correctly unless you're hoping to play some far eastern microtonal scale or something...

Strictly a wall-hanger - and only for those with kinda poor taste... LOL

As a tone wood, coconut has a rather milky sound.

Based on the three reviews at the Walmart site, it sounds like it's not even worth the $12.99. The $24.99 Toy Story and Princess ukes they sell at Toys R Us are pretty impressive, though. I put Aquilas on the ones I gave my 4-5-year-old grandchildren and now these instruments are actually playable.

These are sold in the "party supply" department. Use your $13 for strings. These are landfill. At least they're biodegradable.

Boy am I lucky. Only available in US. Just saved money for my coffee and muffins for a week.

Running the risk of being "that guy", this is the garbage that gives people the impression that ukulele is a toy'ish joke. too many low end playable options to fool with this.

But I'm wondering...do they make it in travel size?
