Hi Friends,
I am planning to build a replica of the 1920s Aero Uke--the one that looks like Charles Lindberg's airplane. I have plenty of photographs of the original and I have enough design experience to handle the construction and artistic details (I am a retired architect). My problem is that I don't have an accurate handle on the dimensions.
I can do a rough "grid scale" from the photographs, but it would help If I had a fairly accurate measurement of the dimensions of an actual instrument. Needless to say, a set of measured drawings would be ideal.
Is there anyone out there in ukulele land who can help?
Thanks.
